Infidelity Blues

Consumed by your carnal flames,
I smoulder in your wicked passion;
A slave to your untamed desires,
borrowed your wilderness
with the price of my pride.
  Like a driftwood
in a brook downstream,
directionless and unheeded;
I float in my conscience.
Your love-bites like memento
stuck to my torso,
remind me of my lost pride
till I regain it.
Dissecting you from my soul,
is my only atonement;
for misunderstood nuance of lust
as love.
