Word prompt – Lucky

His toe was sticking out of worn-out shoe which he stared at with disdain. He window-shopped for a cheap pair of shoes this entire afternoon but couldn’t find one which he could afford. The burden of debt on his shoulders was enough to burst the cloud of helplessness on him and drenched him with the thoughts of inferiority and forlorn hope. His reverie of melancholy was broken when he was brushed against by an old man on the crutches and he couldn’t help noticing old man’s amputated leg. This tickled his sanguinity and it dawned on him that how lucky he was to have feet.
